I wasn't sure what to expect from a sanity meter, but watching my character start seeing things and hearing whispers mid-game was genuinely unsettling in the best way. The slow psychological unraveling adds a layer of tension that keeps you on edge the entire time.

The sanity meter genuinely messed with my head—I'd be fine one minute, then the screen would glitch and I'd question if I was even alive. It's the first game that made me put the controller down just to breathe.

I was totally creeped out by how the sanity meter actually affects gameplay — makes every shadow feel like a threat. The eerie atmosphere and psychological twists kept me glued to the GameCube for hours.
