F-Zero

The jump pads and boost mechanics still feel ridiculously tight for a 16-bit game, and weaving through traffic on max speed gave me the same adrenaline rush I remember from years ago. Hot Violet handles like a dream once you get used to the drift.

Picked Crazy Horse as my machine and the sense of speed through those sharp turns is just unreal. Crazy Horse handles the power boosts perfectly, and the jump pads add a great layer of strategy to the races.

The jumps and power boosts feel so smooth for a 16-bit cart, and the sheer speed of Crazy Horse’s handling still gets my heart racing. It’s the kind of game that makes you forget you’re playing something this old.
