.hack Vol. 1&2 (Best) (New)

The dual-pack format saves shelf space and delivers a solid chunk of the .hack story arc without having to hunt down separate discs. The combat system tutorial is nicely paced, letting me ease into the Phantasy Star Online-style action instead of overwhelming me right away.

Playing through both volumes back-to-back feels seamless, and the combat tutorial really holds your hand without being annoying. The two-disc bundle saves a lot of searching for the separate games.

Got both volumes in one case, so no hunting around for the sequel. The tutorial does a solid job easing you into the combat, and it scratches that PSO itch perfectly.
