Player faces look noticeably sharper than last year’s update, and the way the AI tracks runs off the ball makes build-up play feel far more deliberate. I’ve sunk a good few evenings into the Master League mode and the match pacing finally clicks for me.

The AI in this version actually pressures you on defense instead of sitting back, which made my matches feel far more tense and rewarding. The updated J League player details are noticeably sharper too, especially in close-up replays.
