난고쿠 소년 파푸와 군 (카트리지 전용)

Cart arrived in solid shape, and the bamboo-pole podium detail on the label is a nice touch. The Dharma doll enemies roll around in a way that really keeps you on your toes, and the umbrella moves feel surprisingly tight for a fighting game of this era.

The one-legged umbrella attack is such a clever move, and fighting through all those yokai enemies feels both chaotic and nostalgic. I can't get enough of the weird Dharma doll enemies rolling around the bamboo pole stages.

The bamboo pole podium mechanic in the platforming is so unique, and the one-legged umbrella attack feels just as quirky as I hoped. My cart was clean with no noticeable wear, and the label is still bright. It's a weird little gem that plays exactly like the obscure folklore it's based on.
