Rokumon Tengai Mon Colle Knight (새제품)

The controls are responsive and the game saves your progress cleanly, which is a relief for a portable title. The colorful monster designs have a lot of charm in their pixel art.

Battling through the colorful alien world to collect the six artefacts feels genuinely rewarding, and the quirky monsters keep the battles fresh. The RPG mechanics are simple enough for quick pick-up sessions yet have enough depth to hold my attention.

The sprite work and monster designs are really charming for a Game Boy Color title, and the quest to find the six artifacts gives the story a nice sense of purpose.
