The mix of air-to-air combat and bombing ground targets keeps every mission feeling fresh, and the Mode 7 scaling when you dive toward the ground really sells the speed. I've put a few hours in already and the difficulty curve is fair enough that I keep coming back for one more sortie.

The cockpit view when diving into a bombing run really sells the vertical combat, and hunting enemy planes in the sky feels tense and rewarding. I've been playing through missions back-to-back.

The Mode 7 ground bombing runs actually make you feel the altitude change—I kept accidentally overshooting my targets at first. Really satisfying once you get the hang of balancing air-to-air and air-to-ground combat.
