Controls are tight and accurate, making it easy to weave through enemy fire. The weapon power-ups add a nice strategic layer on top of the solid shooter action.

The vertical scrolling is smooth and the copter feels responsive, just like the arcade version I remember. It's a solid blast from the past, though I wish the manual was included.

I've been playing through this Famicom cart and the helicopter hitbox feels fair—not too punishing like some shooters. The scrolling is smooth and the weapon power-ups come at a nice pace to keep the action engaging. Only wish the difficulty curve was a bit more gradual in the later stages.
