Kai no Bouken (alleen cartridge)

Finally got my hands on this cart and the cheerful chip tunes alone are worth it—they've been stuck in my head all day. Grabbing keys and dodging those fire-breathing dragons feels just as rewarding as I remember from old Famicom sessions. The big, bold sprites make every screen pop on my CRT.

The chip tunes are incredibly catchy and really bring the Famicom era to life, and the bold sprites make Kai easy to follow through each stage. Running from those fire-breathing dragons keeps the tension high while you scramble for keys and potions.

The key-hunting and potion-collecting loop feels really tight, and the fire-breathing dragons actually make you think before rushing to the door. I've had this cart in my Famicom for a week now, and the cheerful chip tunes are still stuck in my head.
