Pilotwings (alleen cartridge)

Rocket belt levels are so much more frantic than I expected, dodging those hoops at full tilt had me gripping the pad. The thermal chasing really makes you read the air currents, and it's the closest I've felt to actual flight in a 16-bit game.

The gyrocopter levels are pure zen, especially when you catch a thermal and ride it skyward. Cart boots up clean and saves progress without a hiccup, just like the old days.

The rocket belt sequences are a nice change of pace, but the thermals feel finicky and I spent more time fighting the controls than enjoying the sky. It’s a decent cart for the collection, though the lack of a manual makes some of the trickier hoops hard to figure out on your own.
