Sadakichi Seven Hideyoshi Gold (alleen kaart)

I was surprised by how much personality the characters have for such an old PC Engine title, and the comedy actually lands more often than not. The natto obsession made me laugh every time it popped up. It’s a genuinely fun, quirky adventure that feels unique even today.

This Hu Card brings some genuinely unexpected laugh-out-loud moments from its zany spy-plot and the Natto organization premise is brilliantly silly. The controls are tight for an adventure game, making it a joy to replay the comedy scenes.

The spy-vs.-natto premise is exactly as bizarre as I hoped, and the quirky sprite animations during the adventure sequences really sell the comedy. It plays smoothly on my core system, and the Hu Card itself was in mint condition. A perfect oddball addition to any PC Engine collection.
