Schoolspookverhaal (Gakkou Kwaidan)

Exploring the haunted school hallways at night with the volume turned up is genuinely creepy — the ambient sounds and sudden music cues caught me off guard more than once. I had to look up a guide for the kancho monster part, but saving the kids felt rewarding. Definitely a hidden gem for Saturn hor

The FMV is so grainy and over-the-top that it loops back around to being genuinely unsettling, and trying to decipher Genki’s Japanese while a kancho monster chases you adds a frantic layer I didn’t expect. Saved all the kids on my third run, and the payoff actually made the creepy hallways worth it

The FMV footage looks rough even for a Saturn game, but the creepy school hallways and the weird kancho monster chase kept me curious enough to finish. Saving the kids is straightforward, though the controls feel a bit stiff during the scarier moments.
