Cyber Gadget Retro Freak (Controller Adapter Set) (New)

Brand new. Contains the console, cartridge adapter, controller, HDMI cable, AC Adapter (therefore needing a replacement power supply or a step down transformer to be used in the UK), controller adapter and USB cable. Please also note: Japan uses the NTSC broadcast format and therefore needs a TV capable of displaying such images to be used in the UK (most modern TVs have the capability.) A handful of games may not run. Some games also may require a Micro SD-Card to save progress (maximum 32GB.)

Goodness gracious. A console that can play Famicom, Super Famicom, SNES (both PAL and NTSC), GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Genesis, Mega Drive (Pal and NTSC, though Mark III would require a Mega Adaptor), PC Engine, Turbo Grafx and PC Engine Super Grafx games. That’s over nine thousand compatible games. The controller adapter allows keen gamers to use the original pads on the machine for that authentic feel. Games can be downloaded onto the machine with a Micro SD Card and then they can be taken around a friends house. Upscaling makes many never looking so fine. Also allows patches to be applied to games.

Lily G. ★★★★★

Finally got around to testing the GBA slot and it ran my old cartridges without any glitches. Being able to play PAL and NTSC SNES games on one system is a huge plus for my collection.

Hazel ★★★★★

The adapter set handles everything I threw at it—my PAL Super Famicom carts and even my old Mega Drive games all booted up without a hitch. It’s a bit of a tangle to swap between them, but once it’s set up, the convenience of one console for all these formats is unbeatable.

Aurora A. ★★★★★

I was worried my old PAL SNES carts wouldn't work, but this adapter handles them perfectly. The ability to switch between regions and consoles with just one set of controllers is a space-saver I didn't know I needed.
