Hugely successful series in its native Japan and this PSP update utilises everything that has made the game the success it is. The model based robots have never looked so luscious in their cel shaded glory and the ability to run around the main shopping street before popping into battle world keeps the gaming varied. Yet its the combat where this excels to levels to keep the most demanding otaku happy.

Hazel ★★★★★

I’ve been playing through the campaign for a few days now, and the cel-shaded models really bring the robot battles to life on the PSP. The controls feel responsive, and the new updates add just enough depth to keep me hooked.

Elizabeth U. ★★★★★

I was blown away by how smooth the cel-shaded graphics look during battles—those model robots really pop on the PSP screen. The controls feel tight and responsive, making it easy to jump into fights right away. Already put in hours customizing my frame and it's been a blast.

Hannah U. ★★★★☆

Cel shading really pops on the PSP screen, and the model robots look sharper than I expected from a handheld port. Only gripe is the load times between battles, but the gameplay more than makes up for it.
