Reminiscent of Clockwork Knight in parts, Ganbare Goemon in others as Doraemon chucks an octopus and it flies out the screen in pixelated 3D. Playable as Nobita and Shizuka, besides our infamous, earless, robotic cat, there are fine platform action sections well-worthy of a second look.

Jacob ★★★★★

The pixelated 3D effect when the octopus flies out of the screen is such a clever touch, it actually made me laugh out loud. Being able to switch between Nobita and Shizuka adds a nice bit of variety to the gameplay.

Victoria ★★★★★

Picked this up for a nostalgia trip and was surprised by how much fun it is tossing that octopus across the screen. The pixelated 3D effects look wild in motion, especially when things start flying toward you. Playing as Shizuka adds a nice change of pace too.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The pixelated 3D is a total trip—when Doraemon chucks that octopus and it pops off the screen, I actually laughed out loud. Switching between Nobita and Shizuka keeps the levels feeling fresh, and anyone who grew up on Clockwork Knight will feel right at home.
