Exciting Pro Wrestling 3

Glad I gave this a shot — the wrestlers are genuinely easy to tell apart, which is rare for a PS2 wrestling game. The tight-pants jokes land more often than they miss, and the whole thing has a fun, self-aware vibe.

Cha Kato in his undies and glasses is exactly the kind of ridiculousness I needed in a wrestling game, and the roster's clearly distinguishable so you never lose track of who's who. The tight-spot gameplay keeps things loose and fun, and I've already replayed the story mode twice.

I'm having a good time with the roster — each wrestler feels unique, and Cha Kato in his underwear and glasses is exactly the kind of silly detail that makes this fun. The tight spots keep matches interesting, though the controls could be a bit tighter.
