Utilises Little Big Adventure style ellipses to make up the characters and has very much the look of its era as a result. The lighting effects on the magic spells are very impressive and Sony has clearly poured its heart and soul into this realising the significance of the genre.

Sebastian ★★★★★

The spell effects are genuinely stunning to watch in motion, with the lighting adding a real sense of magic to every battle. It definitely captures that throwback feel with the character design, which I've really grown to appreciate after a few hours.

Claire ★★★★★

I was a little worried the art style would feel too dated, but the Little Big Adventure ellipses give it a quirky charm that really grew on me. The lighting on the magic spells is genuinely impressive—it adds a surprising depth to the gameplay.

Adam ★★★★★

Those spell effects are genuinely gorgeous—the way the light wraps around the characters really sells the magic. The whole game has that charming retro look, but the lighting makes it feel surprisingly alive for its age.
