Riley ★★★★★

The CD-quality soundtrack really sets the mood for this supernatural high school drama, and the anime cutscenes are a nice touch for the era. I was surprised how much the story pulled me in once I got past the initial setup. Definitely a fun, nostalgic romp if you enjoy quirky 90s PC Engine titles.

George C. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about a CD-ROM game from 1992, but the voice acting during the cutscenes actually adds a lot of atmosphere to that supernatural parallel universe premise. The pre-rendered anime style holds up surprisingly well for its age.

Jacob ★★★★★

The pre-rendered anime cutscenes on this PC Engine CD ROM really set the mood for Yoko's supernatural high school struggles. The audio quality from the CD format makes the soundtrack pop much more than cartridge games from that era.
