With cheery chip tunes to accompany the on screen platform action, the closest companion Genki can think of for those unfamiliar with Q Taros charms would the the New Smoo. Yet with our loveable ghost being able to float, the action more resembles a shoot em up as shots can be fired in between gobbling rice balls. Sadly a floating ghost was deemed too much for Western gamers and a cherub was used to replace him.
Known as Chubby Cherub in the West.

Christopher ★★★★★

The cart arrived clean and worked perfectly on my Famicom, and those chip tunes are surprisingly catchy for such an old game. If you enjoy quirky platformers, this one has that New Smoo vibe that makes it easy to pick up and play.

Hannah ★★★★★

I was a little nervous buying a loose cart, but the contacts were spotless and it booted up on the first try. That cheerful chip tune is exactly as catchy as I hoped, bringing back that classic Famicom feel. Really fun little platformer for a quick session.

Ryan ★★★★★

The cartridge arrived clean and ready to play, and those cheery chip tunes really bring the platforming to life. If you’re after a lighthearted ghost adventure that plays smooth like the New Smoo, this one’s a solid pick for the Famicom.
