Category: PS2

The classic rhythm action series hits a real epoch setting height on the PS2 with street savvy graphics and some cracking tunes to send tingles along the spine. Plenty will ascertain these are the definitive versions and much desired on the system. Genkis secret pleasure is to work on the anime versions of DragonBall Z and Crayon Shinchan for the karaoke. But perhaps that would be better kept in house.

Emily V. ★★★★★

The graphics really capture that street vibe, and the tracklist has a couple of spine-tingling bangers that got me replaying stages just to hear them again. Still, the difficulty curve spikes hard once you hit the later levels, so be ready for some frustration.

Scarlett F. ★★★★★

The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission, with a few tracks that genuinely gave me chills. It’s a solid rhythm game that really captures that early 2000s arcade feel, even if the loading screens are a bit slow.

William L. ★★★★★

The street-savvy visuals really pop on PS2, and the tracklist kept me hooked for hours without getting repetitive. If you’re into rhythm games that actually make you feel the beat, this one’s worth picking up — too bad it’s not longer.
