Platform romp with distinct Japanese humour and cultural references aplenty, including a cheeky boss run in reminiscent of Ghouls and Ghosts. If the cliché can be forgiven, a hidden gem, or possibly more a hidden whoopee cushion.

Ellie ★★★★★

The boss rush that mirrors Ghouls and Ghosts is a brilliant touch, and the Japanese humour landed perfectly for me. The platforming controls are tight and responsive, making every jump feel fair. This is easily one of the most fun hidden gems I've played on the GBA.

Nicholas ★★★★★

I was genuinely surprised by how much the Japanese humour adds to the gameplay—it makes every silly enemy encounter feel fresh. The Ghouls and Ghosts-style boss run is tough but fair, and it’s great that it stays true to the original platformer feel. Definitely a unique pick for the GameBoy Advance

Aurora W. ★★★★★

The boss run that mimics Ghouls and Ghosts is a brilliant touch, and the weird Japanese humour keeps surprising me. Took a while to track down a physical copy, but it’s totally worth it for my GBA collection.
