The navigator’s spoken instructions actually make a difference during tight drifts, which is a fun touch. The sense of speed really pulls you into those world courses.

The Mode 7-style courses really capture that retro SNES feel perfectly. I love how the power drifting responds to the spoken navigator cues, and the sense of speed is genuinely impressive for a GBA title.

The navigator’s voice cues are actually useful, not just for show, and the sense of speed on those Mode 7-inspired tracks is fantastic. I’ve been playing it every day since it arrived.
