死神 炙熱之魂

I was blown away by how many visual effects they packed into this PSP game—the pyrotechnics during special moves are genuinely flashy and satisfying. It captures the anime’s energy perfectly without feeling like a watered-down port.

The cel-shaded sprites look like the anime jumped straight onto the screen, and the visual effects during specials are absurdly flashy for a PSP launch-era title. It’s not the deepest fighter, but as a bridge between watching the show and playing it, this nails the energy completely.

I picked this up for the PSP and the visual pyrotechnics during special moves really capture the anime's energy. The cel-shaded art style makes each fighter pop on the small screen, and it controls smoothly enough for quick sessions.
