魂斗羅 Spirits

The Mode 7 scaling in the later stages is genuinely impressive for a Super Famicom game, making the bullet patterns feel even more chaotic. I've died more times than I can count, but every checkpoint feels earned. Just wish there were a few continues to ease the pain.

I was blown away by how the game uses mode 7 to twist the run and gun formula into something fresh. The difficulty is no joke, but the frantic action kept me hooked for hours.

The mode 7 stages are absolutely wild, especially the ones where the perspective shifts mid-run and you're dodging fire from every angle. It's brutal, but that Konami polish makes every death feel fair enough to try again.
