The cel-shaded graphics make every Kamehameha look ripped straight from the anime, and the dramatic slow-mo during special moves really captures the show’s intensity. Feels like Budokai came to life on my old PS2.

The combo system flows so smoothly once you get the timing down, it feels like you're actually in the middle of a fight from the show. Graphically, the character models are impressively detailed for a PS2 game.

The way each character's energy builds up during a super move feels surprisingly weighty for a PS2 game, and the realistic art style makes the over-the-top fights hit harder. I've spent hours just replaying the Cell fight to nail the timing.
