The eight episodes each feeling like their own mini movie is such a clever touch, and the Switch controls are buttery smooth for dodging bullets. I've already replayed episode three three times just to soak in the background art.

I love how faithfully they recreated the 70’s anime art style—it looks like a moving cartoon. The shmup gameplay is tight and responsive, and each episode feels like a distinct bite-sized adventure.

The eight episodes each feel like a tiny, self-contained arcade stage, and the transition between bullet patterns and the classic anime cut-ins is seamless. Controls are tight and responsive, making it a joy to weave through enemy fire.
