The pool game is surprisingly accurate—the cue ball control feels just like the real thing. My kids and I have been taking turns trying to beat each other’s duck hunt scores, and it’s been a blast for the whole family.

The ping-pong and pool minigames really eased me into the motion controls, and by the time I hit the duck shoot round I felt like a natural. It’s a great way to get comfortable before diving into the bigger titles.

I was skeptical at first, but the duck shoot minigame actually taught me how to aim the Wii remote properly. The variety of sports like ping-pong and pool makes it feel like a real starter kit for the console.
