Onimusha 2 (First Print)

The combat system feels incredibly tight, and the way you can parry enemy attacks mid-combo is so satisfying. The Japanese mythology setting is gorgeous, with detailed environments that really pull you into feudal Japan.

That intro movie might be the slickest I’ve seen on PS2, and the combat feels so satisfying with those new weapon upgrade paths. The feudal Japan setting really pulls you in, even if the voice acting is a bit cheesy at times.

I was blown away by the atmosphere in this game—the feudal Japan setting is gorgeous and the mythological enemies keep things fresh. The first print packaging is a nice bonus for collectors too.
