Raiden DX

I love that this vertical scroller forces you to stay laser-focused just to survive; the barrage of enemy attacks keeps every stage tense. The attention to detail in the military visuals really pulls you into the action.

The enemy patterns are so intricate I had to replay the first level three times just to appreciate the detail. It's tough but incredibly fair, and the pixel art on the explosions is gorgeous.

The vertical scrolling keeps you constantly on edge, and the sheer density of enemy fire really tests your reflexes. I’ve already lost count of how many times a tiny detail in the background saved me from a surprise attack. It’s a solid, challenging shooter that rewards patience.
