The battle animations are surprisingly detailed for a Saturn game, and the strategy map keeps you planning hours ahead. My first campaign took all weekend.

I've spent hours on the diplomacy screen alone, carefully forging pacts before each campaign. The way the Saturn handles the massive battle animations without slowdown really sells the scale of the chaos.

The tactical depth of managing alliances and betrayals really shines here—I spent hours planning my next move. The way Koei balanced historical figures with strategic gameplay kept me hooked from the first battle.
