超級機器人學園 (新品)

The combat tutorial actually teaches you the timing for counters, which made a huge difference once I got into the later missions. I've been swapping between different mechs from Gundam Seed and others just to see all the pre-fight taunts.

It’s been a while since a game hooked me this fast — the pre-bout bravado between mechs actually gets me hyped before every fight. The intuitive combat clicked for me right away, even though I usually fumble with action titles.

The combat feels surprisingly fluid for a DS game, and the rival mech battles keep you on your toes every time. I've sunk a whole weekend into it and the pre-fight drama never gets old.
