超級星際戰士

Picked this up for my collection and the crisp sprite work on the scrolling levels really stands out on the original hardware. It's fast and frantic, just what I wanted.

The eight levels fly by in a blur, and the nippy gameplay keeps you on your toes the whole time. It may not be as polished as later entries, but it still holds up surprisingly well for a quick blast of arcade-style action.

Finally got around to picking this up, and the "nippy gameplay" description is spot-on—the ship moves fast and responsive right from the start. The first few levels are a blast, though I can see why later entries refined things further. Solid shooter for the price.
