Tail Concerto

I was pleasantly surprised by how charming the RPG elements are woven into the mecha combat. The dog piloting a suit to wrangle cats is as fun as it sounds, and the controls feel tight and responsive.

I was a bit skeptical about the dog-piloting-a-mecha gimmick, but the RPG elements make it surprisingly addictive. The cel-shaded art style really pops on the PlayStation and gives it a unique feel. Played through it in a weekend, totally worth it.

The mecha combat feels surprisingly smooth for an older title, and the cat-collecting premise is way more charming than I expected. I just wish the camera angles were a little better during some of the boss fights.
