Toshinden 3

Still can’t get over how the fighters’ quirky, almost blob-like shapes make each match feel so distinct. The quick action keeps everything tight, and I’ve already replayed the arcade mode three times this week.

The quick pace really shines in this third installment; I love how the fights flow without those long loading breaks. The ellipse-style fighters take a minute to get used to, but once you do, the combat feels uniquely satisfying.

Had a blast with the quick-paced battles, though the camera can be a bit touchy during close fights. The ellipse-style fighters look dated but the action still holds up for a retro night.
