TV Sports Football

Finally a gridiron game that gets the playbook right — I love tweaking the blitz packages and inside runs before each snap. The options menu is deep enough to satisfy any football nerd. Plays smoothly on the Turbo Grafx too.

The playbook editor is deep enough to satisfy a real football nerd, and the running game actually feels different than the pass—no other console game from this era got that right.

Set the passing style to realistic and the game really punishes bad reads, just like a real Sunday afternoon. Took me a few matches to get the hang of the blitz timing but now I'm hooked.
