The way Sei powers up by learning actual Virtua Fighter moves during exploration makes the RPG progression feel really rewarding. Spent hours unlocking new combos and the fighting still has that tight arcade feel I missed.

Wasn’t sure how the fighting and RPG mix would work, but leveling up Sei by absorbing new moves from the Virtua Fighter roster is a genius hook. The combat feels true to the series while the progression keeps you grinding for hours. An absolute gem for anyone who grew up on Sega’s fighters.
