I wasn’t sure about the combat at first, but the way the different clans' warring factions interact makes every decision feel weighty and strategic. Building my army up from scratch took about 15 minutes of careful planning before I saw real gains.

The way each clan leader has their own personality really draws you into the struggle for Japan. I've been playing it every night, trying to outmaneuver the AI on the strategic map.

The warring factions mechanic feels properly brutal—you can't just steamroll, you have to actually negotiate and backstab to gain ground. I've sunk a full weekend into one campaign and the strategic depth keeps pulling me back.
