هيفي نوفا (جديد)

The mech-on-mech wrestling is way more frantic than I expected for a launch title, and the CD-only format actually makes that FMV-style intro feel properly retro. Still booting it up on my original hardware just to hear that audio quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the wrestling controls feel for a launch title, and the CD format really shines with the background music during matches.

I was skeptical about a CD-based fighting game from that era, but the anime-style cutscenes between rounds really sell the futuristic setting. The mech controls feel responsive for a Mega CD title, and the soundtrack adds a lot of energy to the matches.
