Nintama Rantarou 2 (New)

The animated cutscenes actually capture the silly tone of the anime perfectly, and the ninja-school setting makes the missions feel fun rather than frustrating. My kids and I have been taking turns trying to unlock all the characters.

I’ve been looking for a good SFC ninja game, and this one’s packed with colorful stages and ninja antics from the anime. The variety of female ninja characters is a nice touch that keeps each level fresh.

The controls feel tight and responsive, making sneaking around as a kunoichi surprisingly fun. I love how the colorful SFC art style brings the anime's ninja antics to life on screen.
