Was pleasantly surprised by how creative the level designs get, especially the ones that warp into the spiritual realm. The extending platforms add a nice twist to the usual platforming.

The extending and retracting platforms in the spiritual realm levels really stand out — they force you to time your jumps perfectly. I’ve been playing through feudal Japan stages for hours and keep finding new secrets.

The sheer number of shurikens flying in feudal Japan is just ridiculous in the best way, and those imaginative levels keep the game feeling fresh. The extending platform sections are a blast once you get the hang of them.
