Kunio Kun Jidaigeki（僅卡帶）

I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the gameplay is compared to other Kunio titles, and the feudal Japan setting adds a fun twist to the usual beat-'em-up action. Works perfectly on my Famicom.

The chonmage hairstyles on the sprites are a nice touch that really sells the feudal Japan setting. Kunio’s moves translate surprisingly well to the historical brawling, and the action feels just as tight as the modern games.

My Famicom collection needed this historical Kunio adventure and it’s exactly what I hoped for, the cart is in great shape for its age. The chonmage hairstyles and samurai costumes really sell the jidaigeki vibe.
