I’ve been playing this with my son on the weekends, and the split-screen map is surprisingly intuitive for an old Famicom game. The course layouts are simple but challenging enough to keep us coming back.

The little animation of my golfer after each swing is such a charming touch, and the way the split screen shows both the course and my ball's flight makes it easy to follow. It's simple, but it's exactly the kind of laid-back fun I was hoping for.

The split-screen map is surprisingly useful for planning shots, and the swing mechanic feels satisfying once you get the timing down. This cart captures that classic NES-era charm perfectly.
