Langrisser III Special

I was a bit worried about the 3D shift, but it actually gives the battles a cool new feel without losing the classic Langrisser charm. Love that there are multiple endings to unlock, it gives me a real reason to replay.

The switch to 3D graphics is surprisingly smooth — the bishonen character sprites still pop against the polygonal battlefields, and the whole thing runs without slowdown. I've already sunk three evenings into chasing a different ending, and each path feels like a proper new story.

The multiple endings give it real replay value, and the anime art style is exactly what I hoped for on Saturn. Loading times are a bit long but the 3D battles make up for it.
