SD Gundam G Generation Advance (New)

I was skeptical about the speed lines at first, but they actually make every mech clash feel urgent and explosive. The way your pilot avatar pops up during the chaos is a nice touch that keeps you grounded in the action.

The sprite animations and special attack effects are surprisingly smooth for a GBA game, really selling the scale of the mech battles. I've been hooked on building my squad and seeing which pilots show up during the story missions.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a GBA game, but the visual effects are surprisingly intense for the hardware. The cut-in character portraits during battle add a nice personal touch to each skirmish.
