The organic level design is what hooked me—those fleshy, alien backdrops feel far more alive than the usual metal corridors. Even after a few runs, the way it layers enemies into the scenery keeps me coming back.

Seven levels flew by faster than I expected because the organic stage design keeps you glued to the screen, and that sea level genuinely shows off what the Super CD format can do. I've replayed it twice already just to catch details I missed in the background.

The sea level really does squeeze every drop out of the hardware, with some surprisingly detailed wave effects. The organic feel makes each stage distinct, and the difficulty ramps up just right.
